Danielson Reports
For several decades Danielson Associates has been producing widely read reports on the banking industry. Our periodic national and regional banking reports are an analysis of the trends impacting banking as seen through the eyes of our founder Arnold Danielson. Our Quarterly New Bank Report and Banking Letters cover all of the de novo banks from South Carolina to Maine and provide insight into the issues affecting de novo banks.
Quarterly New Bank Report – Each quarter Danielson publishes a report that tracks the performance and stock price of all the approximately 275 new banks started since 1990 from South Carolina up through Maine. The report also tracks historical acquisition prices and current stock prices and stock pricing multiples (price times earnings and price to book).
Quarterly Banking Letters – These are the letters that lead off each of our quarterly new bank reports. Each letter covers a key topic related to new banks such as stock value, earnings, NPAs and equal mergers.
Regional Reports – Since its inception Arnie Danielson has written reports specific to various states and regions. These reports offer insights into where we are and where we are going as well as putting today’s issues in a historical perspective.
National Reports – These reports cover national trends and often deals with the impact large banks have on the industry.
Arnie's Book – In 2007, Arnie Danielson published the book: Consolidation of Banking: Or How Five Banks Bought 50% America’s Biggest Business. This book is available in Hardcover directly from Danielson or through Amazon.
